Isabelle Fraysse, born in France, raised in London where she joined British Vogue at 18, as Fashion Assistant. She then worked for companies within the Fashion and Decorative sectors in Paris: Co-ordinator at Ralph Lauren’s Creative services, Consulting in Fashion Forecast books for Giorgio Armani, Public Relation to Andree Putman and Free Lance editor at French Vogue, signing her monthly Style and Design pages for 4 years.
A journey to India inspired Isabelle to create her own design label ISI
Working closely with teams of Indian Craftsmen including tailors, dyers, block printers and beaders, whose skill she so admired, ISI’s ideas took form, merging centuries old tradition with contemporary desires. The result a collection of accessories and Beachwear sold over the years in some of the worlds best department stores and boutiques.
