Honolulu Rail Transit Project
November 2011
The Honolulu Rail Transit Project is a 20-mile elevated rail line with 21 stations that will connect West O‘ahu with downtown Honolulu, bringing high-capacity rapid transit to this highly congested transportation corridor.
Parsons Brinckerhoff is the General Engineering Consultant on this Project for the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, with Billings Jackson Design as industrial design subcontractor to develop system-wide components. With a capital cost of $5.2 billion, construction is due to complete in 2019.
