
New Appointment Strengthens Project Capabilities

Paulo de Faria joins our New York office as Director this month, bringing his significant systems building experience to Billings Jackson Design.
Paulo has worked principally in the transportation sector, joining us from Grimshaw where he was Associate, Project Manager and Project Architect on several schemes. His portfolio includes the development of component design systems for: Fulton Street Transit Center; EMPAC at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Coney Island Amphitheater; and the Cemex Datacenter. He also has extensive experience in Brazil and will actively explore this and other South American markets in his new role.
Paulo has taught studios on the design of building systems at Cornell and the University of Maryland and is particularly interested in developing our portfolio of component based, prefabricated elements for the construction industry as well as comprehensive building systems for our growing client base.
