Convia Wand

Herman Miller 2007

Convia, a Herman Miller Company, offers electrical infrastructure for buildings that eliminates much of the hardwiring required with traditional electrical systems. All Convia components are programmable, which allows users to virtually "re-wire" a space within minutes using a hand-held wand. Billings Jackson Design developed this infrared wand, which enables users to easily modify their environment with point and click programmability.

The Scene Controller feature saves personalised settings and combinations of lighting and other devices, recalling them with one simple touch. Convia is simple to use and simple to install, reducing labour and scheduling headaches, as well as reducing change orders during the construction process.
