Dr Paul Leonard is Business Director, working with Eoin and Duncan to manage the firm and develop business worldwide.

Paul started his working life as a research biochemist in the field of ischaemic disease. Having moved to a commercial role with Merck Ltd, as a product manager for their speciality equipment business, he joined the Chemical Industries Association, becoming Head of Manufacturing, Research & Innovation. Before joining Billings Jackson Design he spent a decade as Director of the IP Institute in London, the UK's leading independent research body for intellectual property law and practice.

Paul is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board at Bristol University; a member of the Board for the SCRIPT Centre (IP law) at Edinburgh University; an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, and a Fellow of the RSA.
