Tecton LED Wins Red Dot Award

With the red dot design award, the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen

has created one of the internationally most acclaimed competitions. The

award received more than 14,000 applications from over 70 countries in

2011 alone. This makes the competition, which stems from the product

exhibition started in 1955 by Industrieform e.V., the predecessor to the

Design Zentrum, the biggest design award worldwide. The “red dot” is

established internationally as one of the most sought-after quality marks

for good design.

We are pleased to announce that Tecton LED – designed by Billings Jackson for Zumtobel – has been honoured in the red dot design awards 2012.

Organised by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, it is the biggest design award worldwide, receiving more than 14,000 applications from over 70 countries in 2011 alone.

The “red dot” is established internationally as one of the most sought-after quality marks for good design.
