Duncan is a founding partner of Billings Jackson Design and runs the New York office.

Duncan is a furniture designer by training and has been running his own company since 1989. He also worked within Sir Nicholas Grimshaw’s practice for several years, which is where he met Eoin Billings. They co-founded Billings Jackson Design in 1992.

Together they have gained a solid reputation as an expert resource for the detailed development of specific elements of the built environment, as well as providing a product design and development service for international manufacturers.

In 2005 Duncan was invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce.
