Plantec Room Control

Plantec is an intelligent, simple and elegant room control panel that has the ability to monitor and control every electrical operation from a single point. The team chose aluminium because it is practical and tactile, and gave the switches that line the edge of the glass display a resiistance to touch, which provides a satisfying 'click' for the user. It’s a simple aspect of the design but very important to the overall perception of the product. The glass itself is held by end caps and cushioned with dry silicone to allow the user to change the information behind it. Other products developed for Merten include the Trancent glass switch.
