Suspended Uplighting

The lighting for this RAC headquarters building was an integral part of the overall design, developed in conjunction with the structure of the building. The results of this early collaboration between architect and industrial designer are reflected in a solution which addresses both practical and aesthetic issues. The ceiling height allowed for a suspended uplighting system, whereby the luminaires reflect off specially formed coffers that soften the light and reduce glare. The lighting booms and luminaires are manufactured and assembled off site. Minimal fixings and a power supply are all that is required for installation.
